We are extremely proud of the reputation of Arsenal Football Club Ladies team, no doubt the most successful English Ladies teams, and we would love to help young girls follow in their hero’s footsteps. Buckinghamshire girl Ellen White has just been voted England Ladies player of the year. A well deserved accolade for Ellen who is a goalscoring machine for club and country.

On our girls only day we will be teaching children to Play The Arsenal Way and all players will take part in;
• Warm-up and reaction games
• Technique training sessions
• Fun games to practice techniques
• Small sided matches and tournaments

Girls of all abilities are welcome to attend, and of course it doesn’t matter if you support a different team, our Soccer Schools are for all!

The course takes place on the grass field adjacent to Chesham United Football Club at Amy Lane, Chesham, Buckinghamshire, HP5 1NE on Wednesday 6th and Thursday 7th June 2012, from 10am until 3pm.

We hope to bring a real community spirit to the Arsenal Soccer Schools set up across the county starting with a launch venue Chiltern Hills Academy. Your U16s are the regional Young Champions and go to London on the eve of the Champions League final to take on the rest of the country. The event is part of the Champions League Festival taking place in London ahead of the European final between Manchester United and FC Barcelona.

The U16s will be in action from 12noon and the event on the day runs until 10.30pm that night.

Introduction

The HB SOCCER Progression Centre is planned and thought out between coaches to develop players and push them towards progressing in their football careers. Many of the practices and principles are the same as those in development centres which we see as the next level to progress to.

Aims

The Progressions sessions football program is designed to bridge the gap between Sunday youth football and development centre’s run locally including the Arsenal Soccer Schools Development Centre Dacorum.

We believe some players based locally with a small amount of work are good enough to be in the development centre and although we can’t make any promises we believe we can help players make strides towards this.

We will also help players get ready for the leap at Under 16  to the senior game. Lots of players slip through the net and fall out of the game at 16 and we hope we will help young players to continue at a good standard.

Each individual is different but as a group I believe our players will move forward.

Area we will work on;

• Technique
• Awareness
• Speed
• Strength
• Attitude
• Discipline

Players must be motivated and focused to progress, if they are these session will help, and further their football careers.
